Doubtless best known for his classic "Brave New World," his earlier works are also compelling reads. Hardly dystopian, this book follows a group of people in England, in their pursuits of indulgence in all kinds, whether comfort, knowledge, or lust. It's a comedic read, but also sad in its own way. Without question, it's a fulfilling read. For more like this, check out New Old Books. We're a small company, but we're trying to get moving with some big classics. In all, Huxley produced 47 works during his long career, In 1947, Huxley moved with his family to southern California. During the 1950s, he experimented with mescaline and LSD.
